Day 1 - London/Amman

Meet and greet at a London Airport for flight to Amman, the capital city of Jordan. Upon arrival at the Amman Queen Alia International Airport, you will be met and assisted by one of our tour guides and transferred to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Amman/Jerash/Dead Sea/Petra

After breakfast, we will start with the Amman city tour. The tour will take into account the history of this ancient yet very modern city and will visit the archaeological sites, to see the ruins from Umayyad, Byzantine and Roman periods, to name just a few. The tour shall also take you to other must-visit historical sites such as the Umayyad Palace, the Citadel Hill, the Roman Theatre and the Temple of Hercules which are all located down town in Il-Balad. The city is truly a unique experience with the paradox of ambiance between the Eastern part with its bazaars, scent of Arabic coffee, old buildings marked with traces of history; and its Western modern part marked with 8 circles or roundabouts where the best 5 star hotels stand to greet visitors to this vibrant city.

After lunch, we will check-out and drive about 100 kilometres from Amman to Jerash.  In the 1st century, Jerash was named by the Romans as one of the great cities of the Decapolis League. A succession of continuous habitation dating back to the Neolithic era resulted in marvellous embroidery composed of colonnaded streets, baths, theatres, plazas and arches. There are also some of the finest Roman glass figurines and burial objects situated within the realms of this ancient roman city to justify the notion that Jerash is one of the best preserved Roman provincial cities in the world. Visitors will gain a unique insight into the lives of people at this period.

We continue our Jordan Tour to Petra, Jordan’s UNESCO World Heritage Site. En route to Petra, a detour will be made to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth! Your visit to Jordan is incomplete without visiting the Dead Sea to experience the therapeutic benefits of the ‘miracle’ water. Your tour guide will also provide a history of the prophets and holy people who have been linked to the Dead Sea, such as Moses, Lot and Job.

We will then transfer to Petra for an overnight stay.

Day 3 - Petra/Wadi Rum/Amman

After breakfast, we will have a tour of the ancient city of Petra. Chosen as one of the 7 wonders of the world, Petra is without a doubt Jordan’s most prized and valued national treasure and a must-visit destination for every visitor. It was built by the ancient Nabateans in the 2nd century BC, although the history of Petra goes back to around 6,500 BC. Visit the ancient Nabatean rose city of Petra carved into sheer rock displaying an array of magnificent colours emerging together to form a splendid art masterpiece, woven by the hands of nature. You will visit Petra’s famous monument, the Treasury, used in the Indiana Jones final sequence ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’. You will also have the opportunity to spend half a day exploring the Roman ruins such as the 1st century theatre and monastery.

After lunch, we will make our way across Petra to Wadi Rum, the largest and most magnificent of Jordan’s desert landscape. Famous for the site of the ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ movie, Wadi Rum is the best place for travellers to experience the desert and Bedouin culture.

We will then transfer to Amman for an overnight stay and the next day morning flights.

Day 4 - Amman/London

Early morning, you will be met in the hotel lobby in Amman, Jordan for your airport transfer and journey back home.
